It’s been to long since we had a blog post but this summer
has been very busy for the GenNext team. Colorado Golf Club hosted the Solheim
Cup this last week and we could not have been prouder of the green conditions
created by Tony Hartsock and his team. Hopefully some of benefits were from using
the GenNext Complete A&B products.
During the entire broadcast and in the press the talk was
how fast, firm and undulating the greens were, more importantly never once
during the event did the greens lose color or plant health. The GenNext
products are designed to provide optimum plant health that deliver fast firm
conditions with less stress on the plant than any other product in the market
today.
Some of the great quotes on the greens:
European captain Liselotte Neumann
said many of her players headed back onto the greens after their practice
rounds earlier in the week to soak in the subtleties of the greens."We did talk a lot about the speed," she said. "As soon as we got here, we realized they were super-fast, some of the fastest we've ever played. It was a matter of reading the greens, reading the speed into the putts." ABC NEWS
The USA, on the other hand, could never get a handle on the undulated, firm and slick greens throughout the tournament and now has lost their grip on the Solheim Cup. USA Today
Another great feature during the broadcast was the GCSAA
sponsored ad that stated that the greens were the quickest the LPGA had faced
this year and that some adjustments had to be made to make the greens less firm
for Sunday’s matches. What superintendent wouldn’t like to hear the greens are too
fast and firm?
We can’t thank enough the Golf Enviro Systems, Inc. team,
our distributor in that region and Tony Hartsock Superintendent at Colorado
Golf Club and his team for helping showcase how our products perform.
